Display name, business verification and the blue tick
What Meta reviews after you connect — your display name, your business, and optional Official Business Account status.
These are Meta-side reviews. Vatli can’t speed them up, but knowing what Meta checks avoids rejections.
Display name
The display name is what customers see instead of your number. Meta reviews it after you connect.
- Use your business or brand name as it appears on your website, signage or social profiles.
- Avoid generic words on their own (“Best Deals”), personal names (unless you are the brand), and extra punctuation or emojis.
- If it’s rejected, edit it in WhatsApp Manager → Phone numbers → your number → Profile and resubmit.
Business verification
Verifying your business in Meta Business Settings → Security Center confirms you’re a real company. It’s needed to:
- message more people per day than the starting limit allows (see Messaging limits and quality rating),
- add more phone numbers to your account,
- apply for the blue tick.
Have your legal business name, address and a document that shows them (registration certificate, GST certificate, utility bill) ready. Your website should show the same name.
Official Business Account (blue tick)
The verified badge is optional. Depending on your country, you apply from your phone number’s settings in WhatsApp Manager or through Meta Verified for Business, after your business is verified. Meta grants it to established, notable brands — press coverage and a consistent brand presence help. A rejection doesn’t affect your ability to send messages.
