Template sending errors (132000, 132001, 132005, 132007, 132012, 131058)
An approved template can still fail when it's sent — here's what each error means and how to fix it.
An approved template can still be refused at send time because of the values you fill in. Vatli shows Meta’s code and an explanation on the failed message or broadcast recipient.
| Code | What it means | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| 132000 | The number of variables you filled in doesn’t match the template. | Fill in every {{1}}, {{2}} the template declares — no more, no fewer. |
| 132001 | The template doesn’t exist in the language you sent. | Check the name and language in Settings → Templates. en_US ≠ en. Sync from Meta if it was created elsewhere. |
| 132005 | The message is too long after your values were substituted. | Shorten the variable values or the body. |
| 132007 | The message breaks Meta’s content rules — often a variable at the very start or end, consecutive variables or disallowed formatting. | Edit the template. |
| 132012 | A variable value has a format Meta rejects — a newline, a tab, or 4+ spaces in a row. | Clean the value; replace line breaks with spaces. |
| 131058 | You tried to send hello_world, Meta’s sample template. It only works from Meta’s test numbers. | Create and send your own template. |
| 131049 | Meta held the marketing message back to protect the user’s experience (too many marketing messages recently). | Try later; Vatli already skips recently-messaged contacts in broadcasts. |
