Connect your store or payment gateway
Connect Shopify, WooCommerce, Razorpay or PayU so orders and payments save the customer and can send WhatsApp order updates and abandoned-cart reminders.
Connect your store or payment gateway once. After that, every order or payment event saves the customer in Vatli and can start a WhatsApp message — order confirmed, shipped, payment received, refund done or abandoned cart.
1. Add the connection
- Go to Settings → Store & payments.
- Click Shopify, WooCommerce, Razorpay or PayU.
- Give it a name if you like (for example Main store) and click Connect.
- Vatli shows a Webhook address for this connection. For WooCommerce and Razorpay it also shows a Secret — copy it now, it won’t be shown again.
2. Paste the address in your store
The steps for your platform appear on the connection card. In short:

| PayU | Settings → Webhooks | The address for successful and failed payments. Paste your merchant Salt into Vatli — PayU signs with it. |
Last event on the card updates as soon as the first order or payment arrives.
3. Send a WhatsApp message on each event
- Go to Automations → New.
- Choose the trigger Store order / payment and the event — Order placed, Order paid, Order shipped / completed, Order cancelled, Checkout started, Checkout abandoned, Payment received, Payment failed or Payment refunded.
- Add Send template with an approved template. Fill its blanks with order details:

Checkout abandoned fires once, when a checkout has had no order for 1 hour — so an abandoned-cart reminder needs no extra wait step.
Pause or remove
Use the switch on the card to pause a connection, or the bin icon to disconnect it. Events stop at once.
On the Pro plan you’ll see a Business badge here. A connection made during the trial or on Business keeps working if you move to Pro; adding a new one needs Business.
